High Level Meeting of the General Assembly to assess the implementation of the New Urban Agenda Your Excellency Mr. Abdulla Shahid, President of the General Assembly, Distinguished Delegates, Ladies and Gentlemen.   I align myself with the statement delivered on behalf of the African Group and commend the President of the General Assembly for convening this very important meeting.   Mr. President, it is an undeniable fact, that Africa is urbanizing rapidly and all cities across the globe, are faced with challenges in ensuring sustainable urban settlement and development. The advent of the COVID-19 pandemic has further heightened these challenges. HON FRANCIS ASENSO BOAKYE ADDRESSES UNITED NATIONS GENERAL  ASSEMBLY Yesterday, tje member.of parliament for Bantama.constituency and Mister for works and  housing Hon Francos Asenso-Boakye was privileged to  address a High-level Meeting of the United Nations General Assembly  in New York on the implementation of the ‘New Urban Agenda’ Hon FAB pledged the country’s commitment to the Agenda on behalf of the government of Ghana. The New Urban Agenda highlights linkages between sustainable urbanization, housing, job creation, livelihood opportunities and improved quality of life, and it insists on the incorporation of all these sectors in every urban development agenda.

 *HON Francis Asenso-Boakye extends invitation to private developers*. The Works and Housing Minister, Francis Asenso-Boakye has extended an invitation to private developers, including members of the Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA) to embrace the revised strategy of the government in the provision of mass affordable housing to middle to low-income earning Ghanaians. The minister disclosed this when he addressed a gathering at the grand opening of “Rehoboth Knightsbridge, Kwabenya”, an affordable housing project by Rehoboth Properties Limited in Accra.  WITHDRAWAL FROM CONSTITUENCY  YOUTH ORGANISER CONTEST. "If the the time is indeed right, I the Lord your God will make it happen." I write on behalf of my on self to officially  announce my withdrawal  from the constituency  election race. This might be a big blow to  my management team, well wishers,  Friends , Delegates and all.constituents.  I am indeed sorry for the inconveniences caused for my withdrawal  but its centered on the Better, Bigger  and Stronger Bantama we all looking forward for. To Team NaaseiOT and my management  staff,  I say I am grateful I am hopefully hopeful that resultant factor of this intent will be positive for us all ..  * REGIONAL WOMEN ORGANISERS OF THE NEW PATRIOTIC PARTY (NPP) CALLS ON HON Francis Asenso-Boakye* The  Regional Women Organizers of the New Patriotic Party led by their hardworking Dean, *Mrs. Ama Amponsah* of the Bono region paid a courtesy call on HON FAB  at the ministry of works and housing.  This was a maiden visit and outstanding one to have women of virtue paying a courtesy call.  HON FAB ceased the occasion  to  thank them for  the visit and the frank discussions they had , which centered on women-related issues, not only in the party but the nation as a whole.. It's  undeniable  fact that when women lead  worthy  cause, it yields fruits in bountifuls,and for that matter must not relent in their efforts revive the feminine  structures of the grassroot.

 Hon Asenso -Boakye  has indeed changed the face of mPship in the constituency  with his active involvement and constant touch of the grassroot.   He is almost seen at his constituency  everyweekend to attend to his social human relationship political  mandate. As part of his political Clinic,  Hon Asenso Boakye joined the traders and market women  of the bantama constituency  to listen to their plea and have a first hand information  of As part of his agenda of Reviving and Building the bantama economy.
