 *RESPONSE TO FALSE CLAIMS BY CAPTAIN SMART* Accra - 29th August, 2022 –  I have had the opportunity to watch a video in which Captain Smart mentioned my name on the “Maakye” morning show on Accra-based Onua TV, in relation to a matter concerning a Ghanaian firm,  Labianca Company Limited and the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), and  further alleged that I interfered in the transfer of one Mr. Adubufour, a  Customs officer stationed at the Tema Harbour, despite a recommendation made by a disciplinary committee.  It is deeply regrettable that he chose to misrepresent the facts in a vile attempt to besmirch my hard won reputation.  The claims made by Captain  Smart are false and without merit, and as a journalist, I was expecting him  to conduct his work with the highest standard of integrity and truthfulness,  much as is expected of all public servants and anyone seeking to promote  good governance in the national interest.  I tak...

 *Hon Francis Asenso-Boakye commisions "Urban Premier Court"* This morning at Adenta, Hon Francis Asenso Boakye  commissioned the “Urban Premier Court” Housing Project, a new development by the State Housing Company (SHC), an agency of the Ministry of Works and Housing.  The Company, since 2017, has moved from one that struggled to pay salaries, to a robust entity that is churning out several housing units into the Ghanaian housing market, leveraging on its Internally Generated Funds (IGF).   Undoubtedly, SHC has proven that with the requisite framework and support, it can provide housing solutions that are accessible and affordable to the good people of Ghana.

 This morning, Hon Francis Asenso-Boakye launched the “Adumuah Place”, the first commercial building at Appolonia City, a local private developer in the real estate industry.  He underscored the relevance of the industry to our socio-economic development, as it provides significant employment opportunities for both skilled and non-skilled workers.  He  also reiterated that in order to deliver efficient public infrastructure and services to the good people of Ghana, government encourages Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), as a means of leveraging private sector resources, experiences and expertise to achieve our desired objectives.

 The NPP can only break the historic 8 year rule if the base of our party is well organised and motivated.  As part of the re-organisation of the base of the party, He  joined the youth wing of our great party last week Saturday 30th July, 2022 at Afigya Sekyere East constituency for their first general meeting and open forum at Agona.  He appealled to the young people of the party to continue to support the NPP and the government. Yes, He  conceded that not all of us have been compensated by the party but the strong assurance is that the more the party continues to stay in government that is how a lot of our supporters will be rewarded.
