 This morning, the member of Parliament of Bantama constituency and Minister for works and housing HON FAB joined His Excellency the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and other officials to unveil two state-of-the-art cutting edge dredging equipment by Dredge Masters Limited (DML), a subsidiary of the Jospong Group of Companies. 

The issue of flooding after down pours  continues to pose significant threat to government's accelerated socio-economic development agenda, since it affects lives, livelihoods and properties

The impact of climate change and its attendant effects have further worsened the risks associated with these occurrences. 

He therefore applauded Dredge Masters for their efforts in solid waste and flood risk management in the country, and pledged government’s commitment to addressing the perennial flooding in the country.

Hon FAB over the weeks have been considered as a dredge master himself after the extensive dredge works attje Owabi River (covet) at the Atafoa-Barekese stretch  which has mitigated the Perrenial flooding causing mayhem to motorist and commuters of that road.

Another tremendous achievement I tje temporal Patching of potholes within same stretch which has also taken away the heavy traffic situations at the Asore Nkwanta Tigo Junction Ohwim stretch.

History will surely go down with Him as the first Member of parliament who never was never an office only MP but got touch with his grassroot.

His recent Constituency tour, MP's Community Clinic,  walk with his constituents and the numerous donations made to help revive tje Batama economy is worth emulating.
