 *THE PEOPLE OF BANTAMA CONSTITUNECY EULOGIZES HON. FRANCIS ASENSO-BOAKYE ON FOUNDERS' DAY AS A FOUNDING FATHER OF TESCON*


Founders Day is indeed worth celebrating. But the celebration will never be complete without, also, giving due recognition to some distinguished individuals whose initiatives, hard work and dedication have immensely contributed to the growth of our democracy particularly, under this Fourth Republic.


One such distinguished individual is our very own  Member of Parliament and Minister of Works and Housing, Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye. It is indeed and honour to the people of Bantama Constituency to acknowledge that Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye is the founder of TESCON, a tertiary wing of NPP, which since its inauguration on January 8, 2000, has immensely contributed to student and political activism, and grassroot  mobilization for the New Patriotic Party. The contributions of TESCON to the victory of NPP in 2000, 2004, 2016, 2020 general elections cannot be over-emphasized.


How then can we celebrate Founders Day, as people of Bantama Constituency, without celebrating the man whose creativity, and ingenuity gave birth to TESCON?


Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye, the people of Ghana especially, the Bantama Constituency are forever grateful for your contribution to the growth of our democracy under the Fourth Republic. We also, duly acknowledge your hard work and contributions to the growth and success of the New Patriotic Party in the 2000, 2004, 2016, 2020 general elections.


Ultimately, the people of Bantama Constituency shall forever remain grateful and thankful for the unprecedented developmental initiatives under your leadership as Member of Parliament.


Just as Ghanaians are celebrating the founding fathers of the Nation today, the people of Bantama Constituency also celebrate you for your contributions to the development of Bantama Constituency and Ghana as a whole.

Hon. Francis Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye Commisions a new police station at Bantama Ahenrbronum.

 This morning, together with the Mayor of Kumasi, Hon Sam Pyne  and the immediate past MP for Bantama, Hon Daniel Okyem Aboagye, Francis Asenso-Boakye (MP) handed over a newly constructed police station building at Bantama Ahenbronum to the Ashanti Regional Police Command.  He reiterated government's intentions to  seek a strong  collaboration with the Ghana Police Service to use this station as a community policing facility in the maintenance of law and order in the constituency.. As part of his bantama Nkoso) Agenda,  he earlier this month  cut sod for construction of a modern police station at at Ohwim Amanfrom, Donation of about 20000 dual desk to schools in the bantama constituency,  sod cutting for a Library project at bantama LA and Presentation of cheques to scholarship beneficiaries as part of his MP's Common Fund.

 The member of Parliament for Bantama constituency and Minister for works and housing has once again been recognised and appointed as a Member of the advisory Council of the NPP Ashanti Regional  Youth wing. Speaking to constituents ,this  news was not a surprised to them   because of his immense contributions in the development and support of the Bantama Youth Wing.  Hon Francis Asenso- Boakye over his 2years  and some months stay in parliament has really demonstrated leadership beyond excellence.  In areas of Infrastructural  development,  Human Resource Development and MP's constituents relationship suppases all.
