 Beautiful Display of Rich Asante culture : Hon Francis Asenso-Boakye joined Nana nom of the Asante Kingdom for the Grand Durbar of (Brafie/Homecoming of Asante Students Union (ASU) AAMUSTED.



 The member of Parliament for Bantama constituency and Minister for works and Housing Hon Francis Asenso-Boakye  joined Nananom of the Asante kingdom for the Grand durbar of Asante Students Union:AAMUSTED.


Chiefs present were 

  Ohenaba Owusu Afriyie,( Otumfuo Apagyahene)

, Nana Antwi Agyie Brempong (Atwima Hene),

 Baffour Opoku Agyemang (Otumfour Twafohene),

 Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo (Agric Nzema Hene 

and the Vice Chancellor  of the school Prof Fredrick Sarfo.


Speaking to the theme for the occasion "Expanding the boundaries of Asante Culture through contemporary Education,  the role of the student " He reiterated government's commitment to development of culture through education and also suggested a 1dollar project monthly by  Asantes living both home  (Ghana)  and Abroad to save at least a dollar, pound , or cedi monthly for  the development of Asanteman.


He also commended management of the school and student leadership for the peaceful co-existence between all.tribes on campus and the absence of  infight  between  students as compared to recent clashes in some tertiary institutions.


Hon Francis Asenso-Boakye will on Saturday begin a 3-day bantama Nk)so) Nti Agenda and visit to electoral areas in the bantama constituency.


This monthly visits serves as check on how his constituents are faring despite his tight schedules as a cabinet Miniter, known for his infrastructural developments in yhe bantama.constituecy , there be Sod-cutting of a Library Project at Bantama M/A school , Presentation of cheques to scholarship beneficiaries and commissioning of a Police Station at Bantama Near Lebanon Club.

Hon. Francis Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye Commisions a new police station at Bantama Ahenrbronum.

 This morning, together with the Mayor of Kumasi, Hon Sam Pyne  and the immediate past MP for Bantama, Hon Daniel Okyem Aboagye, Francis Asenso-Boakye (MP) handed over a newly constructed police station building at Bantama Ahenbronum to the Ashanti Regional Police Command.  He reiterated government's intentions to  seek a strong  collaboration with the Ghana Police Service to use this station as a community policing facility in the maintenance of law and order in the constituency.. As part of his bantama Nkoso) Agenda,  he earlier this month  cut sod for construction of a modern police station at at Ohwim Amanfrom, Donation of about 20000 dual desk to schools in the bantama constituency,  sod cutting for a Library project at bantama LA and Presentation of cheques to scholarship beneficiaries as part of his MP's Common Fund.

 The member of Parliament for Bantama constituency and Minister for works and housing has once again been recognised and appointed as a Member of the advisory Council of the NPP Ashanti Regional  Youth wing. Speaking to constituents ,this  news was not a surprised to them   because of his immense contributions in the development and support of the Bantama Youth Wing.  Hon Francis Asenso- Boakye over his 2years  and some months stay in parliament has really demonstrated leadership beyond excellence.  In areas of Infrastructural  development,  Human Resource Development and MP's constituents relationship suppases all.
